When he first found out, I imagine he probably shrugged his shoulders and sighed.  Buried hands in his pockets as he said: It's up to you.

The first time they met, I could see the smile.  It was slow to start but he couldn't help it.  He didn't expect to like her.

He reached out to softly scratch her neck as he said: To tell you the truth, I'm not against animals.  And we know he isn't.  He just believes that they belong outside.  It's what he knows.

But we knew he'd come around.
